what if...

A discussion I had with some guys at school was the probability/improbability/possibilities of travelling faster than light. By the quantum theory (or whatever theory it is) as velocity reaches the speed of light, mass grows closer and closer to infinity; which, as one can see, is really really big. But, everyone seems to forget that it is only a theory. What if Einstein is wrong? (or at least partially) No one ever seems to question him. His formulas and crap may work for speeds less than the speed of light, but what if there's an equation that could apply to speeds greater? I for one am not convinced that we can't travel faster than light. Just because light is the fastest speed we know of don't mean that there isn't a speed faster. People either 1) just think we can't 'cause a "really smart" guy said we couldn't, 2) are afraid of something never attempted, or 3) see a limit that has been labeled "the fastest speed" for so long that it is ingrained into people's heads that it can't be topped. Maybe I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, but I'm a skeptic: I try to see evry side something; good or bad. I question things. I try to find ways where evryone else has given up or abandoned. But there is that question that if we were to exceed light speed, what would it be like? Well, I'm not scientist, physicist, or any other -ist; but I can use logical thinking (even if it may be found to be flawed later. logic's no law). If you think about it, if you were to travel faster than light, you would arrive at your destination before your image did. In essence, there would be two of you; or two images anyway. Albiet the other would be going light speed ('cause that's only how fast light can go after all) and you wouldn't really be able to see it anyway. There were some more things, but right now I'm too tired to gather any more thoughts. Just remember, be open-minded; but not so open minded your brains fall out... I heard that once.

I initially thought that the center was a good place to put the payload, but changed my mind.

To shift the primary weight to the front, I decided that the payload being in the nose would be a good idea. There is also the fact that you can fit more in there.

Changing the shape of the nose slightly to allow for more space, I thought that making a core of explosives surrounded by some sort of shrapnel. Just a thought that occured to me.

They never cease to amaze me. Girls. One thing in particular. Somehow one can manage to be completely loyal to her boyfriend or still really like a particular person but at the same time they're gawking at evry "hot" guy they see. It kinda bugs me in a way. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's bad for a girl to think some guys's a good lookin' fella. It's just that most of you (girls) don't really realize how that affects the guys around you that are your friends. How would you like it if you had a boyfriend that always pointed hot girls out to you, and almost never said how pretty you were? Speaking for me ('cause I don't know how all other guys feel) but it can be kind of a self esteem reducer. Not really sure of any other way to put it or express it. Oh well. And another thing. A little off topic, but not too much. How is it that a guy only seems to be hot/cute/whatever if you don't know who he is? food for thought.

The Universal Blog

I'm really starting to find a new appreciation for the "universal blog", its kinda like..appealing to a broader scope of the human race. Whereas a personal blog appeals simply to those with a like mind. The universe can all gather around these formatted blogs and share their input on whatever their opinion is. Also all of the authors to this blog share varying view points on well, just about everything. It's too bad that no one really reads this as much as other blogs, but they really ought to. There could be vital information on here that you will probably wish you had known, but won't for whatever reasons.

In my new appreciation, I'm actually just trying to catch up to All Evrything in number of posts, however, I have some ground to cover.

How about that hurricane. It rocked, both literally and figuratively. I mean it kicked some serious butt down there on the coast, but here on the inland we thought it was awesome. I mean between mudfootball and trying to pimp on the ladies who got stuck in our dorm. It was awesome. So yeah. I'm fairly certain no one will be reading this, buy thats fine. So Duck and I were talking last night via AOL Instant Messenger, which is one of the best inventions ever, but we were talking and I randomly brought up the fact that I have been listening to the Goo Goo Dolls (circa '97) and am now a HUGE fan. So I told Duck about this and it turns out he is also a fan and we are also both fans of their song called "Iris." It may not ring a bell right off hand, but I'm sure you'd know it if you heard it.

Rolling Home

So, I found some great downtime to post on the universal blog. It's to bad that I have sage advice to offer to those of you out there who read this. However, I would like to admit that I was wrong. I have found out that not everyone at Freed is a Freedie, haha actually some people hate it as much as I do, but this is where they got the best scholarships to come. Also I was wrong when I thought that there weren't any hot girls here. Granted they aren't just crawling all over the place, but if you're patient there are some real hot girls walking around.

Ya know who my favorite people are? People that think they know everything about you, but in reality don't know you because they dont even know themselves. I love people that judge your life choices because they don't agree with them. I love people who try to dish it out, but can't take it. I love people who think my life is so outta whack that I need constant guidance. I love people who won't stay out of other peoples business.

But most of all I love people who are willing to talk to you after you put up with all the other people I love so much. So to those people, thanks.

So after reading Donald's post from few days ago. I decided to go out on a limb and right a post. I have no idea what to post so I think Im gonna ramble. Tonight was a Freed Experience and everytime I meet a Freedie it makes me all that more depressed that I'm going to spend the next year of my life surrounded by that. For those of you who are new to the Freedie terminology a Freedie can be defined as '(1)one with an obsessively annoying outgoing personality seeming fake in everyway.
